PVMTA marked it's 50th Anniversary with a celebration of our vintage 1890 Steinway C.
The founders of PVMTA hosted many recitals and master classes in their homes throughout the 1950's and 60's to raise funds for a piano. Seymour Bernstein gave master classes and found this superb piano for us in 1972 and PVMTA began holding performance events at Christ Church. Seymour has supported our organization is a big way by returning annually to give master classes. He was pleased to join our celebration on Zoom from his home in Maine and to show off the photo collage we made for him as a token of our appreciation. We also recognized our technician, James Karr, for his generosity to PVMTA and his loving care of our piano since 1984. Honorary memeber Adrienne Le Blanc also joined us on Zoom from Florida. After these presentations, we enjoyed a delightful concert by members and friends. (See photo gallery for more pics)
